In the summer of 2005, Jazz Musette played twice in a series of benefit concerts put together by then-Mayor of Gig Harbor Gretchen Wilbert and ALTRUSA. The concerts were held on the Mayor's deck at the head of the Harbor.
Money raised during the concerts was to go towards the Girls & Boys Clubs planned for Gig Harbor.
The weather was beautiful, the crowd was enthusiastic, food from the Marketplace Grille was delicious as always and the Mayor was the perfect Hostess.
